Something's weird about this one

Daniel grabbed a pile of towels while I was folding laundry. He carried them to the bathroom and with the help of Grace who opened the door for him, put the towels away. He didn't even drop one, and nobody showed him where to put them! There's hope for a clean freak in the Mahorney family yet!

Love is...

Love is stopping the pretend car, going to pretend ballet, by squeeling the pretend brakes, at the exact same time, every time...like Luci and I do.

Getting a grown man to eat tomatoes

If you want a grown "manly-man" to eat cherry tomatoes, show him how you can throw them in the air and catch them in his mouth similar to how they do it with popcorn.

Daniel's words

Well he is finally getting the hang of it. Just some recent words are ball and apple (ball definately clearer than apple but I hear /p/ and 2 syllables). He says no and uh oh, really cute too. And last night he sat down and listened for over half of The Cat in the Hat without trying to tear a page. He could also point out the fish on every page. Yippee!!! He can also put his toes in his mouth and is not scared to try and put his mother's in also! I'm so proud.

Setting the deadline

I am declaring that by summer (which for me starts June 1st) I will have all the scattered pictures neatly in albums and labeled so Grace, Luci and Daniel will have their very own picture memories and not just share their similar baby pictures.

Declared.

Grace Quote

"I'm going to be so busy today."

"Doing what?"

"I have to catch Daniel on the slide, play with him, make him happy..."

She's been feeling very big sisterish today.

Luci Quote

Mom, you make my heart feel so happy (while holding up a cookie cutter heart).

I love you to the front

Last night Luci was so sweet to tell me she was tired. I asked if she wanted a hug and kiss and she said yes. Then she rubbed my cheek ever so sweetly and said, "I love you all the way to Alabama."

I said, modeling after one of our favorite books, Guess How Much I Love You, "I love you all the way to Alabama and back."

Luci started to walk away, but then turned around to say, "I love you all the way to Alabama and front." I love three year old logic.
