The Friday before the Cubs game, Ken and I were going to drive down to Mom and Dad's after work. We were just too tired to do so, but we didn't decide this until after we told the girls to get packed up. Well Grace, suitcase in tow, car pillow wrapped around her neck, didn't take the news too well. She was so upset yelling obscinities for 45 minutes such as, "I just want to go to Grandma Kresl's! Why did you do this to me! Why would you tell me we're going and then not go! I wanted to see if Lauren was going to be where she was! I'm Frustrated!!!"Lesson learned. Wait until the last minute to get ready for any Grandmas' house in case you change your mind unexpectedly.

Not my Goddaughter! I think the pictures were doctored and the events you described were something you saw in some sort of movie on Lifetime about bad kids. I want more book of Daniel entrys. Maybe Ken can write about his new favorite Dad and getting to pick him up off the ground ;)
I did say it was a rare occasion. You'll be glad to know She has since reverted back to her kind, lovely self.
I'm not sure that is a memory he wants to relive just yet, but your request has been noted.
It always makes me feel much better about myself as a parent when I read of other children's tantrums. Thank you for sharing your story. Oh, and I love the "I'm frustrated" line - too cute!
