So the other day, Luci was doing some crazy tumbling and bumped the outside of her ankle. She was very upset and came to me for comfort. I hugged her and asked if she wanted me to kiss it? She said she did. I'm happy to report my kisses, which for the previous 3 weeks have not been working, worked this time. She was happy again.
Daniel happened to witness the whole thing. So being the little copy cat that he is, he tumbled onto the floor, whined a little bit and held his ankle as though it were in traumatic pain. I again asked, "Do you want me to kiss it?" and he held up his ankle so I could kiss it. The pain was gone and he went on his merry way until later in the day when....
Daniel was inspecting the dishwasher and somehow hurt his finger. He started crying and held it up and as always pointed to the offender. I asked if he was ok, gave him a hug and asked if he wanted me to kiss it. So of course he....held out his ankle again so I could make him feel better. Kissing Daniel's ankle cures any ailment...
The next day I had the opportunity to show Ken. Ken wouldn't let him have a fudge pop. Daniel was very upset and came to tell me, again pointing to the offender (Ken) and had big crocodile tears. I gave him a hug and put his frustrations into words and then asked if he wanted a kiss. Guess what he did. He held up his ankle! I kissed it. Normally all would be well again, but I was laughing so hysterically when I did. He didn't appreciate this and kinda' pouted for a second, but then everything was better.
So to cure Daniel's ailments, just kiss his ankle.
